Juana Márquez
Professional flamenco dancer, currently performing at Seville’s leading flamenco tablaos and teaching training courses at Estudio Flamenco Sevilla.
Juana Márquez is from Seville.
She is a professional flamenco dancer and dance performer, as well as a dance instructor.
She studied at the dance conservatories of Seville and Madrid and continued her training with renowned artists such as Manuel Betanzos, Andrés Peña, Alicia Márquez and Pilar Ortega, among others.
She began her professional career teaching classes at the Charlie studios in Madrid. In 2003, she returned to Seville, where she has continued to perform at various venues, including Patio Sevillano, Flamenquería, Sevilla de Ópera, Casala and the Álvarez Quintero Auditorium, as well as Tablao Flamenco Las Tablas in Madrid.
She has also taken part in the Gorbio Flamenco Festival in France, the Saint-Étienne Flamenco Festival with the Opera Orchestra, and the Noto Flamenco Festival in Italy.
